Construction

This album contains images from the behavior. We bought the plot in 2004 where it was filled up. The house was built in two rounds, the first part started in 2005 and finished in 2006. The extension (Pavilion) started in 2009 and finished in 2010.

NA

This is what the plot looked like when we took it over. Unfortunately, there is shiny water everywhere.

2004

NA

Then the ground has been cleared of bushes and trees, and you can now see that there is 20 cm of water everywhere.

2005

NA

The stuck truck from a different angle

2005

NA

Not all unloadings went as they should, this truck got stuck and now there was only the shovel left.

2005

NA

Then the first loads are met and a tractor smooths it out

2005

NA

After approx. 50 loads filled we had then reached the end of the road. It was now possible to drive on the plot.

2005

NA

Then the people are getting ready to knock poles down to a depth of 20 meters.

2005

NA

In a few days, they can start knocking the poles down - 18-20 meter

2005

NA

The first pile of 10 meters is down and the next is welded firmly.

2005

NA

Then the 16 piles have come into the ground and they have started digging them free in the surface.

2005

NA

Then there are casting boxes on top of the piles. These are going to carry the whole house.

2005

NA

The floor separation is taking shape

2005

NA

At this time, only 4 poles have been set aside for the pool. It is made only at the end

2005

NA

The floor on the 1st floor is being laid out

2005

NA

The load-bearing parts for the floor have been cast and the load-bearing columns are on their way up.

2005

NA

Load-bearing columns for the roof structure are on their way

2005

NA

The roof construction in iron.

2005

NA

Then there is a roof over the house

2005

NA

Masons have begun to wall up between the concrete pillars

2006

NA

There is now masonry in most places, only where the balcony and pool should be there is no masonry.

2006

NA

The house is now being plastered on the outside, but something is completely wrong with the bathroom window, it is way too high up. It is typical of a Thai, the window should preferably be 5 meters above the ground so that no one can look inside. This is above the ceiling height ...

2006

NA

They have now gradually started with the area where the pool should be.

2006

NA

Iron for the pool is being braided and was used just as much as for the rest of the house.

2006

NA

The pool is now cast, and soon we will be over and helping with the completion

2006

NA

Pool inside

2006

NA

Then we have arrived. Prior to our arrival, a quantity of materials had been sent, mainly for the water installation. With us there were quite a few tools. Here, the first pipes are milled into the wall in the bathroom. It was a piece of work for which I had been promised 2 helpers, but time would tell otherwise.

2006

NA

This is the stairs up to the 1st floor

2006

NA

Bathroom. In the bedroom, people are having a lunch break.

2006

NA

The ceilings have come up in several places. My box of materials and tools was used to relax on.

2006

NA

Outside, railings are being set up all around. Everything in stainless steel.

2006

NA

The partition for the shower and the large doors are finished. The overflow gutter for the pool they had not made, so it must now be cast.

2006

NA

Work on the pool is underway, now with a helper.

2006

NA

Downstairs, a water tank and pumps are being set up.

2006

NA

The best of the bricklayers are in the process of setting up tiles in the pool

2006

NA

The marble floors are being laid, directly on top of several cm thick layer of cement.

2006

NA

The ceilings are being fitted, here in the kitchen

2006

NA

The bathroom is fitted

2006

NA

The bedroom was taken into use, however, only by myself, Tukta and Angelina slept the last few days by her parents.

2006

NA

A water cooler was installed in the hallway

2006

NA

Outside, the blacksmith is setting up stairs in the pool, which is now nearing completion.

2006

NA

A kitchen must once be set up here.

2006

NA

Outside, it is also painted, and a rolling shutter is being installed.

2006

NA

Floors have been added to the garage and the water supply is ready. However, it lacked public support.

2006

NA

To the east it has been finished.

2006

NA

Pool is missing the edge and an attempt has been made to fill in some water, which was abandoned. It drained the whole street, so there was little water in the tap.

2006

NA

Air conditioning set up in the bedroom. The house is now as finished as it can be this time, and it took 1½ years before we continued - Christmas 2007

2006

NA

Here is set aside an extension of the house, a 70 m² living room, our new pavilion.

2009

NA

The people who will make the pile foundation for the extension, 9 piles in total have arrived.

2009

NA

Simultaneously with the construction of this pavilion, the last of the wall around the property needs to be completed so that the workers have been renting here in the backyard for the next approx. 6 months

2009

NA

The day of the framing must, of course, be celebrated, so that the gift table is set out for the Buddha.

2009

NA

Then the foundation crane is up and running. Each pile must be 20 meters down, but then they can also carry a 2 storey building. Better a poor horse than no horse at all

2009

NA

Down in the garden, the work on the outer wall is also progressing

2009

NA

10 days later, the outer wall looked like this.

2009

NA

Then the piles are in the ground. We are now writing July 29, 2009. About approx. 4 months, the concrete skeleton must be completed, and we will come and lead the rest of the construction ourselves.

2009

NA

The piles are dug free so that a box can be cast on top of each pile.

2009

NA

Then the plinths are made. The center of the floor is also pile-founded

2009

NA

On September 10, they had come here. Most of the pillars are erected

2009

NA

Floors have now been laid, but they have not thought further about the passage to the old part

2009

NA

September 16, and the skeleton is almost finished

2009

NA

October 16, and they are finished so far.

2009

NA

For the construction we got some slightly larger bricks made than their normal ones and we are now ready to start the construction. A Danish krone and a Thai bath were closed

2009

NA

The masonry company has started, and we went on a 10 day round trip north, believing they could easily make it.

2009

NA

Yes further they had not come in 10 days.

2009

NA

The corners have only come to the edge, and the large walls have not come very far up either

2009

NA

Here it is seen that they were not able to make a shift of 3.

2009

NA

These have to be made 3 of, and here is ½ day work

2009

NA

The concrete roof tiles are laid

2009

NA

Here is set aside for electricity and multimedia. As can be seen, the walls are insulated.

2009

NA

The concrete skeleton also includes 4 support columns. The building could easily be in 2 levels.

2009

NA

Floors and columns for the aisle are cast

2009

NA

Only toes in concrete .....!

2009

NA

Then came a new supply of cement, which is unloaded manually

2009

NA

Then the first corner was finished

2009

NA

Then they started putting roof on

2009

NA

Seen from above, and without safety nets.

2009

NA

Christmas Eve approx. at 20. They know they only have approx. 14 to make it all finished, then construction stops for a year and their money is frozen.

2009

NA

December 28, and they are very much lacking masonry. Meanwhile, the walls have been evacuated, so we had to find new people

2009

NA

This was the first arch that was put, and the masons ran off when the mold was going down, they thought it would collapse.

2009

NA

Then they are getting the roof tiles laid. The hat is also made

2009

NA

Under the stairs to the 1st floor, the door must be inserted.

2009

NA

Then we are on the last day, they just reached it, but still go and work as we pack suitcases. Windows come in within one to two weeks

2010

NA

Seen inside. The air conditioning system was not finished and he lost his 10,000 thb. It has subsequently been completed, but it has not been made as ordered.

2010

NA

Then the blacksmith has come with his tail and apprentice in just 14 years. It took a couple of hours to remove the old railing and set up two new subjects, one of which was reused

2018

NA

Two hours after I started, it looked like this. Now I just needed to clean up, polish the edge and wait for the glass master. He came the next day at 10am.

2018

NA

In November 2018 I decided that the window facing the garden side had to be replaced with a sliding door, and another railing had to be made at the flat roof of the middle building. Here I have started the demolition of masonry under the window.
